RcWare

The system consists of several levels which are connected via standard interfacing technologies so that the topology is open for third party integration at any level.

The RcWare Vision environment supports both graphic representation of process data, and easy-to-view table access to process values.
It takes care of alarming, and alarm forwarding, trend data management and interpretation, remote access, and wide communication facilities to the RcWare SoftPLC as well as to numerous third-party systems.

The core of the control system are process stations equipped by the runtime of RcWare SoftPLC, a free-programmable DDC application with both general and HVAC-specific PLC function blocks. The touchscreen stations use customized graphics MMI for daily operation. Supported platforms are Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, Linux, and dedicated OS at the small stations, scaled by application size and communication demands.

The input and output modules are the interface between the control systen and the technology. They can be used for plant control, as well as for data acquisition and monitoring systems. There are standard and compact modules in the range with the optimum I/O mix for HVAC plants.

With the RcWare® software we are offering an open, distributed system for controls of technological processes both for buildings and for industry. The system takes use of Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE, and Linux utilizing all features of those environments.

The product range reaches from peripherials over the input and output modules (Advantech and Modbus communication) and process stations (OPC) to visualisation and management systems (SQL, web, OPC…). The system is fully open, and therefore it is possible to integrate the hardware and software of other suppliers at any level. This enables centralized maintenance of the technologies and continuous update with hardware and software investment protection.
